Startopia exists because Louis Ravenscroft spent 11+ years learning entrepreneurship the hard way, and decided nobody should have to wait until adulthood to start.

The founder
Louis Ravenscroft's journey
Founder of Startopia and creator of the ProofScaling method. A serial entrepreneur with 11+ years in venture building, investment and startup ecosystems, who has built five companies of his own.
Started by building, not studying
Louis built his first company before anyone taught him how. Entrepreneurship, learned the only way it can be, by doing it and getting it wrong in public.
Placed inside organisations to build from within
Working as an EiR meant designing and launching new ventures from inside someone else's walls, under someone else's deadline, with someone else's capital on the line.
Designed venture-building for major brands
Louis went on to architect venture-building and innovation programmes for major brands and institutions, the systems that decide which ideas get resourced and which get shelved.
Took companies from zero to real revenue
Across 11+ years and five companies of his own, he learned what actually moves a venture from a slide deck to a payroll, hiring, cash flow, and the decisions that compound.
And watched some of them fail
Not every company survived. The failures taught him more than the wins ever did, and made it obvious that most founders fail for reasons evidence would have caught early.
Built a way back in for the overlooked
Over 90% of founders who apply to venture programmes are rejected. Louis built Second Chance to give rejected and overlooked founders a structured, evidence-based route back in.
Codified it into a method
Everything from building, scaling, failing and rebuilding got distilled into ProofScaling, five steps that replace pitch polish with evidence: ProofScore, ProofTags, ProofPlan and ProofVault.
Now teaching it from age seven
Startopia takes the same method that de-risks adult ventures and starts it decades earlier, so founders build the evidence habit before they ever pitch for real money.
